WHO I AM

I am a registered dietitian who counsels people in overall wellness, sports nutrition, stomach/intestinal issues, or eating disorders. I am a certified eating disorder treatment specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (Iaedp). Since 2003, I  have been in private practice and/or in a university setting where I see people one-on-one, present to various groups, and lead meal groups and support groups. The goal of my practice is optimal body function achieved through manageable, measurable steps. I focus on intuitive eating, where we eat when we're hungry, stop when we're full, and eat a wide variety of all foods in moderation. No foods are labeled "good", "bad", "healthy", or "junk". We also balance what we eat with appropriate, joyful physical activity.
